Hotel Harmonia - Piest'any

The location was hard to arrive to it at the first time. The hotel facilities isn't good as it should be in any 3 Stars hotel. The clean of the rooms & decoration was low & old building. No internet services in the rooms (only in the lobby with no privacy). The prices for the rooms was high considering the available services & the hotel facilities.

We enjoyed the friendly staff and the breakfast was good value for money. The rooms were clean although the beds are need of new mattresses. We were satisfied. We have actually re-booked another overnight stay again for our trip back.

Good location in quiet green surroundings, friendly staff, rooms and facilities are clean, well kept however bit out dated, pet friendly hotel, worth the price.

Mainly an older age group, when I was there end Aug 2010, some events put on for guests that were basic but good. Buffet breakfast from 7 till 9 am had a really good selection. Nice river walk near by and close to the health spa. Good massage and therapy in-house, with a number of different treatments.

Hotel was good, but there were no public pathway dusk/night-time lights when walking back to hotel along the river banks.

The location and price were good. Breakfast was very good.

There is no elevator. Our room was on the third floor. Even though we reserved a room without stairs for another couple (One of whom was handicapped) they did not have a room available on a lower floor. When they realized the problem they offered a so called "suite" on the first floor,at a supplementary charge, but the suite had a bad smell in it so we declined the offer. It is an old hotel. The toilet was not clean and when we complained we were told that it would be dealt with the following morning.

Good food and good price

The hotel receptionists did not speak a word of English and kept on talking to me in German.
